prof. PhDr. Tomáš Kubíček, Ph.D.
Czech studies researcher and literary historian. He worked at the Institute for Czech Literature of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where he founded the Department of Prose Theory and the tradition of narratological research, and headed the Department of Bohemian Studies at Palacký University in Olomouc.
Since 2014, he has been the director of the Moravian Library in Brno. He teaches at Charles University. He has published monographs on narratology and 20th-century Czech literature.
