(b. 1972) is a translator and editor who grew up in the former Czechoslovakia and in Austria. From 1993 to 2000 she was a student of Slavonic Studies and Art History at the LMU in Munich. She has been working as a freelance translator since 2001. Also since 2001, she has been an editor at the C.H. Beck publishing house. Between 2005 and 2015 she taught Czech at the LMU in Munich and led courses in translation. She has been teaching evening courses in Czech for adults at the Volkshochschule in Munich since 2005. She operates as a literary scout for the Czech book market and is also involved in museum education and art facilitation.
