In the first part of the programme, DILIA’s managing director Jan Barták will introduce the agency and its work in the field of literature and theatre, as well as its awards and projects supporting young authors and creators. The author and literary scholar Zuzana Říhová will then join him in presenting the DILIA rights catalogue compiled for the Czechia – Guest of Honour initiative at the FBM 2026, which features visionary voices of Czech postwar literature as well as promising contemporary writers.
The feature about classic authors will be followed by a discussion with new voices Kristina Hamplová and Miroslav Hlaučo about their debut novels Lover/Fighter and Letnice, literary awards, generational differences, literary events abroad, the challenges of second books and the availability of official support.
