It is the end of September, and the sand is no longer as hot as it was in summer. There are more people on the beach, and a little girl keeps trying and failing to build a castle out of dry sand. Lucie Lomová creates a large-format scene that feels like a moment plucked from a longer story, leaving the viewer free to imagine what went before and what will happen next.
