What is it like to live in a world where conspiracy theories are true? What happens to an ordinary car fitted with an engine for a space shuttle? Who are the drone hunters? Illustrator Jakub Bachorík will answer these questions and more in his talk about artist’s books and comics. Bachorík graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Prague, where he now works as an assistant in the Graphics department. He illustrates children’s books, paints murals, prints posters, creates artist’s books from strange worlds, draws whatever is needed, occasionally makes music, and hosts a podcast about rap. Jakub Bachorík will also take the opportunity to introduce the book Mosty [Bridges], published in German translation as Brücken by Karl Rauch Verlag in 2025.
