Zuzana Finger (b. 1959) was a student of Slavonic Studies and Balkan Studies at the Freie Universität in Berlin, completing her doctorate with a dissertation on Slovak-Hungarian bilingualism. She has been a literary translator from Czech, Albanian, Slovenian, Slovak and Serbian since 2006. She has received numerous scholarships and awards, including for translations of theatre plays. From Czech, she has published translations of works by Ivan Wernisch, Tomáš Přidal, Radek Fridrich, Konstantín Biebl, Milan Ohnisko and Miroslav Punčochář. She lives in Wilhelmshaven.
