
Ferdinand Hauser is a translator and journalist. He was born in Halle, Germany, in 1995. He studied Czech Studies and literary translation in Leipzig, Vienna and Prague. In 2020, he received the Susanna Roth Award for his translation of an excerpt from Veronika Bendová’s Vytěženej kraj [A Depleted Land]. In 2025, he received the Czech-German Journalism Award. He lives in Prague.
