This discussion with female translators will introduce two international projects that support young literary translators: the Susanna Roth Award, for translators from Czech under 40, which for twelve years has been promoting Czech Studies abroad while showcasing contemporary Czech literature beyond the Czech Republic; and the CELA project, which since 2017 has been bringing together emerging European writers, translators and others active in literature from eleven countries through workshops, residencies and participation in literary festivals, thus cultivating conditions in which these professionals can work and creating new opportunities for their cooperation.
