How diverse is Czech exile literature, what forms has it taken in history, and why can’t Czech literature do without it? How many waves of Czech exile are there? What is life in exile like for writers and artists? Is Czech literature able to accept writers in exile?
Three writers in exile of different generations and nationalities, each of whom is embedded in the world of Czech literature, will discuss questions on the meaning and nature of an important phenomenon that has shaped Czech literature since the 16th century.
