In October, Czechia will be the Guest of Honour at the Frankfurter Buchmesse 2026. Visitors can look forward to a varied programme featuring more than 100 literary and cultural events at the fair and in and around Frankfurt. Czechia’s appearance as Guest of Honour at the Frankfurter Buchmesse, taking place under the motto “Czechia – A Country on the Coast”, is the largest presentation of Czech literature and culture abroad in the country’s recent history. At the Book World Prague fair, the 75 selected authors who will be presenting their works in Frankfurt were announced.
