
Karolina Heidinger grew up in a Slovak-Austrian environment. She studied Japanese Studies, Slavic Studies and Translation Studies. She lives in Vienna and translates from Czech, Slovak, English, French and Japanese. Her translations from Czech include Sára Zeithammerová’s novel Die Unerhörte (The Saint), forthcoming from Anthea Verlag.
In addition to technical texts and prose, she primarily translates comics, manga and graphic novels. She also volunteers in the field of science communication.
