
Lena Dorn lives in Berlin. She translates poetry, prose, essays and children’s books into German. Since 2023, she has been working part-time at the Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf in Brandenburg. In 2020-2022 she was a member of the jury of the Václav Burian Award for Poetry in Olomouc. In 2021 she received a special prize for New Talent in Translation under the German Youth Literature Award. In 2023 she was awarded a Scholarship of Excellence from the German Translators’ Fund. In 2024 she received the Otokar Fischer Prize in Prague.
