Illnerová Kateřina

Kateřina Illnerová (b. 1999) loves to draw stories about completely ordinary things, such as porcelain plates, mailboxes, shelves filled with books, teapots and cats. She is a graduate of the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň. She came to widespread attention in 2022 by winning the prestigious international Silent Book Contest. She is a multiple winner of Czechia’s Muriel comics award. S láskou V. [With Love, G.], Illnerová’s latest comics book, won the Magnesia Litera for Best Book for Children and Young Adults.
