Lucie Lomová (b. 1964) is a comics author and artist. A graduate in Theatre Studies, she has been writing and drawing comics since the late 1980s; she also works occasionally as an illustrator. She is the creator of the popular children’s comics series Anča a Pepík [Anna and Joey], which ran for ten years in the children’s comic Čtyřlístek. The series later appeared in a multi-volume book edition, and Czech Television made a thirteen-episode animated series based on it in which the author plays an important role. Her first comic book for adult readers was Anna chce skočit [Anna Wants to Jump] (2007); it was followed by the graphic novel Divoši [The Savages] (2011) and the comic-book mystery Na odstřel [Knock ’Em Dead] (2014). Lucie Lomová has also worked as an educator; she gives occasional lectures on comics and holds workshops. She has won several Muriel Awards, most recently for her latest comic book Každý den je nový [Every Day Is New]. She is a recipient of the order of France Chevalier des Arts et Lettres.
