
Petra Josefína Stibitzová (b. 1988) is a graduate in Illustration and Graphics from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Having produced a few illustrated books and comics, she was given the opportunity to create a comic story for the magazine Raketa; together with Jana Šrámková, she came up with Matylda a Růžovej vlk [Matilda and the Pink Wolf]. She has co-authored the books Holub Kolumb [Columbus the Pigeon], Pilot Pírko [Plume the Pilot] and The Píp Pap Pop [The Peep Pap Pop] with Emma Pecháčková, the comic book Pajasan [Tree of Heaven] with Vratislav Brabenec, the books Jak se mluví s královnou [How to Speak with the Queen] with Jitka Esserová and O potopě světa [Flooding the World] with Ivana Pecháčková, and the foldout picture book Věci, které ztracíme [Things We Lose] with Petr Borkovec. In recent years, she has provided drawings for the comics series Francizska in the collection Totální nasazení [Total Commitment] and a book about Sidonie Nádherná. She enjoys spending a lot of time with her two children and telling them goodnight stories.
