On Sunday, June 14, Iva Procházková and Marek Torčík presented their literary works at the Haus am Dom in a dialogue that brought together contemporary Czech prose, personal experience, and themes of memory, identity, and a changing society. The evening featured poet Uwe Kolbe and was moderated by Tilman Spreckelsen of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Actor Stephan Wolf-Schönburg read excerpts from the German translations. Martina Ley provided interpretation.
The event opened a new chapter in the Czech-German literary dialogue, which will continue in the run-up to the Frankfurt Book Fair.
