Jaromír Švejdík (b. 1963) is a Czech singer, composer, guitarist and artist. When collaborating on comics, he uses the pseudonym Jaromír 99.

Švejdík founded the punk band Chlapi z práce in the 1980s, before his military service. Since 1989, he has been the singer of the band Priessnitz, for which he writes most of the lyrics. He co-founded the music project Umakart (in 2004) and the trio Jaromir 99 & The Bombers (in 2007), whose debut album is the soundtrack to Švejdík’s comic book Bomber. He currently plays in the groups Kafka Band and Letní kapela.

He went on to collaborate with Jan Novák on the comics Zátopek… když neměš, tak přidej! [Zátopek: When You Can’t Keep Going, Go Faster!] (2016) and Čáslavská [Čáslavská] (2020). For the British publisher SelfMadeHero, he produced a comic-book version of Kafka’s Castle in 2013; for this he was nominated for a prestigious Eisner Award.

Mimosezóna [Offseason], a collection of his song lyrics and illustrations, was published by Host in 2022.

As an illustrator, he has worked on a limited edition of the novel Bílá Voda [The White Water] by Kateřina Tučková (2022), the novella Vánoce v Praže [Christmas in Prague] by Jaroslav Rudiš (2023), and the anthology of short stories Sudety – Ztracený ráj [The Sudetenoand: Paradise Lost] (2025), among other titles.
